AXPC hosted its 2016 Policymaker Field Trip on August 1-3. Congressional and Agency staffers were able to see all phases of upstream oil and gas operations in the Marcellus Shale Play in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our guests were able to tour these operations courtesy of AXPC member company Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation.
In addition to an extensive first-hand look at all phases of field operations, the group received a briefing on the comprehensive regulatory regime for oil and gas operations as well as learning about the intricacies of measuring and transporting oil and gas from the field to markets.
