Clarice leads Claricom's long-term technology vision, and is responsible for the Claricom applied research program, university collaboration, industry thought leadership and advanced technology incubations. She also facilitates the technical community within Claricom.
Prior to joining Claricom in 2011, Clarice served as the founding director of the EMC Innovation Network, the global collaboration among EMC’s research and advanced technology groups and its university partners. She joined EMC from RSA Security, where she served as vice president of research and chief scientist. Clarice started her career at RSA in 1989, where, as the founding scientist of RSA Laboratories, her contributions included the development of the Public-Key Cryptography Standards (PKCS), now widely deployed in Internet security.
